| The Harris Grade Road ride is a terrific 8 mi. stretch running from Hwy 1 to Hwy 135. Is is a dynamite ride with some great, tight twisties weaving through some fantastic scenery! You can also combine Harris Grade Rd, San Antonio Rd and Black Rd for a great detour on Hwy 1, Leg 2. |
Harris Grade Rd.
On Hwy 1, a mile or so after the end of Lompoc, heading North, you will see the old Valley Drive-In Theatre on the right hand side. The next intersection you come to will have 2 options, left on Hwy 1 or straight through to Harris Grade Road. Go straight through. Once you pass the stoplight you are on Harris Grade Road.

The first section is some nice rolling
straightaways....

Next you get into some wide sweeping corners....

| Twistie paradise! From here on out the road condition is
moderate. No potholes but many patches.

You really get into some great scenic hilltops...
